We were thrilled to have the Minister for the Environment join us to celebrate World Water Day last Thursday. The Minister spoke to the school about the importance of caring for our environment, congratulated everyone for the work they are doing in Stokes Valley to look after the streams, waterways and environment then donned his gumboots and walked to the stream behind the fire station to see firsthand the work the children and teacher have been doing. Later in the day while speaking in the House at Parliament Minister Carter spoke about what he had seen and heard while at Koraunui School.
