Back in 2018, tamariki from our Kura planted some small plants around the stream area as a part of a project to clean up the area and help improve the water quality of the stream.

Earlier this week Whaea Liz went to have a look at how the planting had developed and was blown away by how different the area looks and the impact the planting has had on the area around the fire station.  It is so good that our tamariki get to make such a positive and long lasting impact in Stokes Valley.
