Last week, on a glorious autumn afternoon, 50+ juniors from across the school enjoyed a fun and exciting soccer tournament. The tournament involved 10 teams of 5 children from rooms 23, 4, 10 and 15, each team enthusiastically managed by a willing senior student. Games were fast and furious and scores were kept! Luckily, the teams all wore different coloured bibs so no child missed their game. 2 fields ran side by side and were competently refereed by Louis and Ahurei.

At the end of the afternoon 2 teams were declared winners and everyone cheered. All the children looked tired and happy and agreed it was a wonderful tournament. Hopefully, ‘Little Dribblers’ soccer will return in Term 4 so that the children can once more have a fun afternoon and show off their soccer skills!
