Pasifika Performance Group – Fundraiser

Talofa lava, kia ora and warm greetings,

To help support our upcoming Pasifika performance and end-of-year celebration (including costs such as 💨hairspray and other essentials), we ran a chop suey fundraiser.

Families in the Pasifika Performance Group were asked if they were able to contribute one of the following items:

🥓 500g Bacon Pieces

🍜 Two packets of Vermicelli

🐷 500g Pork Mince (pork mince only please)

Whāea Tina F would like to say - Fa’afetai tele lava / Thank you very much! 🌺to every one who helped by donating, collating and cooking including Deb from the food bank who donated meat to help.

The fundraiser was a success with more meals ordered than expected. I would like to say a big thank you to Whāea Tina and her team because although there were a few small order collation issues - whāea and team cooked up a storm to feed everyone - even creating a second batch in record time.

By all accounts from multiple people it was the best chop suey money could buy.
