Zoom is a cloud-based video conferencing service you can use to virtually meet with others. The whole class can join at once and see and hear each other. You can have a class without being at school. 

How to join a Class/Meeting

To Join a Zoom Meeting you can:

  1. Click on the link sent to you via email or
  2. click on the Meetings tab to join a scheduled meeting or
  3. go to zoom.us and enter a code given to you by your Teacher.

Once you have done one of the above things you will be asked to download the client. Which is a very small file that gets installed on your device to make Zoom work. 

 

If you arrive before your Teacher you will see a window telling you they haven't joined the meeting yet, this is a good time to make sure your sound is working right.

You may choose to connect audio in three different ways:

• Using computer audio (recommended).
• Dialing into a conference bridge from your phone.
• Have Zoom call you by entering your phone number and your meeting will call your phone
