Each class spent one hour with Donald from Te Papa, learning to:
- explore the layers of our Earth
- piece together tectonic plates
- handle different volcanic rocks from Aotearoa New Zealand and learn how they are created and their traditional uses
- learn how to read a seismograph and map the epicentre of an earthquake.
