Some of our senior tamariki had the opportunity to attend Te Wā Heke Festival, which was held at the Lower Hutt Events Centre.
Tamariki had the opportunity to learn about the future of science and technology, there were a variety of hands on activities, interactive displays and many more fantastic exhibitions that had our tamariki fully engaged and discussing their ideas. There was opportunities to think about what if their was no more meat and many tamariki had the chance to sample meatless food, including insects!
A great experience for all involved!
