Our class was fortunate enough to be part of a great writing postcard activity from Warehouse Stationery.
All children learnt about similes and then wrote on a postcard/s to other students at another school in New Zealand. Our class then received postcards from those students.
We were also lucky enough to write to some penpals in Switzerland, as part of their learning about the English language the students from Rumlang wrote to us and we then wrote our replies.
The only technology used was when we were trying to locate these various places in the world.
